PRITIKIN LIFETIME EATING PLAN: WHAT'S A DAY LIKE?
On a typical morning, your breakfast might be hot or cold whole-grain cereal (maybe oatmeal or wheat flakes) with fresh berries and skim milk. Or if you've got a bit more time and the inclination, you might start with our recipes* for Banana French Toast or Oatmeal Pancakes topped with Hot Cinnamon Applesauce. A Sunday morning with the paper might inspire you to make Cheese Blintzes and add Fruit Syrup. For lunch, how about a quick whole-wheat pita stuffed with sprouts, cucumbers, and tomato with a splash of red wine vinegar, and then an apple - or spinach linguine with eggplant and Marinara Sauce, artichokes vinaigrette on the side, and strawberries for dessert?
